(Why dont you work something out so you both get what you want. Why dont you also think about what the other persons feeling)

(There's not really an in-between; either there's monsters or there's not. This RP, however, has been built and written specifically to have the monsters as the main problem. Removing the monsters from Sick would be like removing the magic from Harry Potter.)

( I didn't say "remove them" I said "The animals like Triwolves need to go". The only creatures that should be in the RP are the unknown creatures that are killing people. Even in the original thread the animals themselves are normal. Also, it was your RP, I just asked to REDO it so it DOES stay alive. It kind of kills the mood when all of a sudden weird creatures come into play. To me, I like a RP of any kind to stay close to the plot. Even in your story- which may I say never included any of these new creatures nor did the original thread- only 1 ever creature was involved. Though in a different role play I could find them cool, I don't like it when someone says " Yeah, you can take this over " and then flip and say " It's still mine. " What I had asked for when I pm'ed you about rebooting it- I wanted to change the story so it is more serious. More vibrant, more fear and suspense. Yes, at this moment the RP isn't that but it isn't fun to throw a person into danger nor make it so out there that the plot isn't even there! I even changed the base story to fit more of the original by your request. You were awfully vague in your version- which is why people didn't find interest of it. Not that it was bad because a lot of people liked it, but more so that is slowed it. If you wanted those things added- you should of told me from that start and explained the story to me so I understood.

What am I getting at? Instead of lashing out at me for a plot you didn't explain- follow the new set of rules for it and make it fun for everyone. And if you REALLY cannot give up that. We can all just take a vote on what we would like. )

The plot was supposed to be vague. The whole point is that barely anybody knows about the creatures, because those that do get hunted down! And the reason these creatures didn't show up in the original is because it died so quickly. And, just like how I was vague with the plot, you were incredibly vague in your wording for rebooting. The way I saw it was that you were just going to revive the RP, as that is what seemed implied and you furthered this idea by changing the base when I told you that you'd been incorrect. I am also pretty ticked at your voting choice, since literally all that does is force Kiwi to make the choice when that obviously is upsetting them.

For one, I wanted everyone currently in the rp whom was interested in voting for which to vote.

Second, I was not vague as even in the story- staff themselves had rules. That were very clear.

All I want is the plot to stay how I designed it for the reboot version.. And if I intended to just revive it I would of said- or pinged- everyone on the original thread.

If you'd like, you can either just calmly stay here with how I wanted the rebooted version to go, or if you dislike it that much you could just not partake in this version- as I made the original with permission slightly altered.

I've done a bit of research, and after looking at the two most promising results I can say with certainty that I am, indeed, within the right to say that this is still my story.

The one that came up first in my searches is a case about the usage of a person's photographs, and that person later wanting to leave (their reasoning wasn't mentioned). The link is here if you doubt me.

In this situation, things differed a bit, but to quote the top person:

"If they just said, "yes, you can use them," but didn't specify for how long or under what conditions, then it seems to me that they are within their rights to withdraw permission."


I also have a key line from Stanford themselves. And, while my work technically is not copyrighted (or, at least I don't think so), I believe it still applies.

"If there is no express limitation on the use, you are allowed to use the material for as long as you want or until the copyright owner revokes the permission."


Yes, I did bring law into this. Even if this is not a legal situation, it should be pretty clear that Sick is my property, and I can say so and be correct about it.

Alrighty then, since Sick in and of itself is your property and you choose to make it this way. I can also say- I made this rp completely different to the original therefore making this version mine with the same name.

I simply asked you to stop making the story so wild. If you wanted this story to stay in your control completely you could of said " No, don't reboot it. "

Also Copywrite laws are made for something trade marked, or completely original. I didn't copy/paste the original story- I asked to change the original to my own by asking to "reboot" it.

Then again- I can just say I am letting this RP die take my story give it a different name and leave it at that.
Because as you said- Original sick is your property while this new one is mine.


I am not a slimeball though and would change it up. Because if I was one I wouldn't of asked at all.
