It squeaks and turns to you. It's eyes started glowed a faint greenish colour as the letter in your hand started to feel lighter as it it were being pulled from your hand, but there was no one there...
You stay silent as you continue down the path considering all possibilities. You were currently pondering why and how you were here, but there were already so many other questions jumping around your mind. The sound of people chattering filled your ears as you got closer to what might be a village.
The trees stay don't utter any intelligible words, however they do begin to whistle and growl. You back away slightly, not sure how to proceed.
What should you say/do?

Normally, I would screech but... try dodge?
You continue along quietly hoping that nothing will attack you. Your hope is very short lived, as a large lion like creature dives from the bushes to your left claws aimed at your head. You can hear someone or something else rapidly approaching from somewhere behind you, but your not sure if they are friend of foe... Meteorite is nowhere to be found...
You decide the screeching would just alert all other hostile creatures in the area to your position. So you quickly dive down to the side hoping to avoid both approaching figures. To your surprise you feel a hand on your shoulder pulling you back from the lion.
"Honey? Are you trying to get yourself killed?"
What to do, what to do?

Well, no.. It just attacked me

The lion growls as it lands in the dusty dirt, it stands tall as it turns towards you and Lyn. Lyn sighed seeming really, really board with the lions presence. She holds her hand up towards it and within seconds is disappeared into thin air. Lyn giggles and begins to speak.
"If you walk on this trail you will be attacked by everything! Nothing here is nice!"
What should you do?
