"What?! I have done nothing Captain Skipper there is no need to duel." Selkie spoke calmly looking at Kaladin as if trying to deside to take the challenge or to try to keep Kaladin on Skipper's good side.
"Oh are you afraid boy your father would be disappointed." Skipper taunted him.
What Skipper said pushed Selkie over the edge and he looked at Kaladin in an apologzing way. Selkie grabbed the weaker iron cutlas on left while Skipper grabbed the steel cutlas on the right. They began to circle each other on the deck the crew watching.

"Got it!" Fisher held up the journal "Skipper.. Skipper ah here it is 'started today on the S.S. Marina I am a cabin boy but the captain sees great potential in me'.... 'Skipper as the crew calls him. He is a promising sailor as well for now he is my supior'. ..... Few months later in the journal 'Skipper and I are moving up quickly in the ranks equal in rank he is now my rival going for the same position I am."

It took Kal a moment to register what he had just gotten Selkie into....
"...Oh...CHAOS!" He exclaimed, worried.

Selkie and Skipper started fighting their cutlas ringing with every blow. If Selkie was a decent fighter then Skipper was an expert fighter. The cutlases clashed for a few more seconds before Selkie's cutlas broke and Skipper sidesweeped and hit Selkie in his injured side, him knocking Selkie flat on his face. Skipper but his foot on Selkie's back.
"Say it boy and I will let you go." Skipper pressed his boot harder into Selkie's back. If he doesn't stand a chance against me he will killed for certain by Black Beard.
"Never." Selkie gasped and tried to push Skipper off him.
Only then did Skipper see how skinny and weak Selkie really was. Selkie's rib were showing though his skin.
Skipper pressed harder than removed his boot from Selkie's back. "You're done get back to scrubbing, cabin boy."
Selkie rubbed his side and went back to scrubbing near the side of the ship.

"Yeah hopefully" sterling remarked caressing phantoms head

"I'm so sorry Opal the knights consider you family though so you're not alone." Starlight spoke. "Thank you for everything so far I've never had anyone care about me this much aside from one person."

Diablo cocked his head a bit confused.

Opal nodded,"At least you had one person" she handed star the dagger and the journal."Use these,the dagger will help protect you,you should be able to hide it under you skirt."

"Thank you and who's journal is that if you don't mind my asking?" Starlight asked. "Do you know a good place to pratice? That way no one gets hurt when I pratice."

"Well the journal's empty....i have a lot of them.As for practice i'll take you into the trait i get room,or one of them least." she added grabbing a small sword.She looked longingly at a suit of armor on the wall

"That suit was your husband's wasn't it? I'm sure that he'd want you to be happy Opal to remember all the good times." Star tried to comfort her. "Thank you that would great."
