After a while I wake up to see them both staring at me. I groan and roll my eyes before struggling to sit up.


((Btw, I am singing it now XD))

"Be careful.."

I am better now I slowly stand up.

((Sang it all the way through, so pleased with myself XD))

"Alright.." She says, not very sure

I shake out my wings and take a few shaky steps. I begin to fall again but IceFang is there to catch me.
Oh! And who are you? I ask.

IceFang, and you? He replies.

I'm River, and this here is Eko I say guardedly, we are both a bit tense.

((Eats cookie lol))

"Yep."

*IceFang*

Now that you are better River I will be going I say curtly before disappearing back into the snow.

((Once again, he will return, he is in looooooove XD))

I wake up with a crick in my back. I must've slept on a rock. As I stand up and stretch, Jet yawns and shakes his head. It is raining outside our cave. I walk to the small passage he burned out with his acid, and enter the cooking/living room. Straight in front of me is my small fireplace I worked so hard to make. To the left is my handmade table, and a few shelves scooped out of the rock. I have been living here ever since my mother died, five years ago. I am quite the thief, as I stole many tools from some of the people down in the village at the base of my mountain. The blacksmith always has spare tools that he doesn't notice go missing. I used his hand saw to make the boards for my table. I watched the farmers work, teaching myself how to make a farm. I have a small one in another cave, branching off of this one. I use my wheat to make bread, and get milk from the dairy. I poke at the fire, refuel it, then put a pot on to boil. My water comes from a fresh underground stream that pools in one corner. I get some spices and bear meat, and put it in the pot, along with some orange peels. Jet hunted down this bear a couple days ago, and I am working on drying it for the winter.
Jet sticks his head through the doorway, unable to fit his broad shoulders through the passage. I toss him a piece of meat, and he sits contentedly to eat it. I don't expect him to talk, he only speaks when necessary.
