It's an earthquake. They've surely heard of earthquakes sometime before. But, there's never been one here. Especially not one that feels so big.

Nethimir looked around, wondering why or how a earthquake would happen here.
Mono stayed against the wall, hoping the earthquake wouldn't push her out of the cave.

The sand collapses fully on them both. Mava shoves it away, curling up around Neth with a frightened whimper.
It doesn't, thankfully. But the waves are awful.

I hope Neth and Mava are okay.. Mono thought still against the wall.

Nethimir did a code in sign language and used her magic to shove some of the sand away that was above them.

The Earth tremors again. The force of it makes the sand crash down on them again, forcing the two back to the bottom of the pit and knocking the air out of Mava.
