(I don't think I've mentioned this, but despite the vita living in a desert it's actually pretty chilly. Not nearly as cold as the glacies' place, but definitely pretty chilly)

Yeah. That's the signal she's crossed the border.
(No, it's a sand desert, but it's got red sand. It's just always around 40 to 50 degrees, and often snows in winter)
