After a few hours have passed, things are... different. The main one being that her skin has turned the same color as Virv's.

It's as if her entire world is in HD. She'd barely been able to see anything in the darkness before- now everything is clear as if it was daytime.

The colors seem much more distinct. But, more notably, they have patterns. All across their skin are small, intricate designs, in vivid shades of blue, green, and white. Virv's are fairly geometric, while Riin's are more swirly. It'd odd, and she had no idea strixes had patterns like this, but it's very pretty.

She gently takes her hand and lifts off into the air. "We call it the Alteration Root. If a non-strix has venom in their system -which you do- and they touch it, it'll latch on to them and turn them into a Strix."
