With a flash, the scene changes. Devastation is curled up on the ground, seeming very small against the huge shadow above him.

You hear a loud rustle and a man steps out from the long grass. His eerie eyes are pitch black, yellow markings on his back. He turns his eyes to you. "Take me to her," He says.


"Aye, aye." I say, turning back to the river before remembering the leeches. "You don't by any chance have another way over this river, do you?" I ask, not really wanting to face the leeches again. I fear I am now permanently afraid of water.

"Oh, thanks!" I say and climb after him. Once on the other side, I begin to show him the way back to where I had seen the Queen last.

"I am Scout, and my business is helping Sal," I point to the Salamander-form, "get to the Queen. The Queen requested Sal to come." I say, hoping I had remembered that right. She had mentioned Sal and needing Sal.

Sal is in his Salamander form now, taking great interest in his surroundings. You have to wait several times for him to catch up.
