You make it downstairs to the large pair of doors you'd entered from.

I go outside to see if its just the inside that changed

Narrator reminds you there were candles you could try to light up...

When you move towards the door, nothing happened. It seemed as if the laughed, or whoever had laughed, was long gone.

I grab one of the candles, in case I need it later, and go back to the hallway.

Your lamp goes out when you exit the room. A breeze passes you, and you hear the laughter again.

It would not budge. It seemed to be part of the fireplace, and not to mention, the entire candle looked fake once you examined it up close.

Back at the mirror, the bloody reflections were clawing at the other side of the glass as if trying to break through. The helpful reflection watched you hopefully.

Everything looked new. It was almost as if you'd gone back into a time when the mansion was still functional. The main pair of doors was closed, and locked, so you couldn't exit.

After the bang and the object whizzing over your head, whoever had tackled you was on their feet again. "Go!" They hissed, hauling you up and pushing you towards a patch of bushes. "Run! As far as you can!"

Velos sighed and decided to do so. That hadn't gone as planned. he tried to wipe the mud off his cheek as he ran

As you said that, you feel something weird, as if your body was being stretched. You black out, and when you come to, you are somewhere different.

You have entered a game.

You survey your surroundings...

Floating in the air above you was four circles in a row, all of them showing an icon (imagine the default Facebook user icon, the one with a greyed out profile shot) and under each icon were two rows of words. Under the first icon it said "Doctor, Emily Dyer" the second one was "Gardener, Emma Woods" the third one was "Lawyer, Freddy Riley" under the fourth one was simply your name. It appeared that you didn't have a title.

Internally I grumble I'm a detective thank you very much! but don't spendx too much time on it. I look for the people as they said I would be playing with them it would be smart to find them.

I head away from the stairs

I follow the laughter. "Who are you?" I call out.

I try to light it anyways, trying to figure out what makes it special. I search around the base of the candle as well, looking for anything that sets it apart besides it being fake. I try tugging on it as well to see if its a lever of sorts possibly.

The door opens up into what seems to be a normal looking living room. This room was rectangular, large windows on one side, and it had a fireplace, a couple of chairs and sofas around the fireplace with a coffee table between them. Bookshelves lined the room.

Looking around, nothing was suspicious in here, looking around not much caught his eyes. The book shelves were interesting though. Perhaps there was something near them. Tantei heads over to the bookshelves.
