"I was right all along, you are a monster" My father gasps, struggling out from underneath me and running away.
I stand in the center of the clearing, panting hard.

I lay myself flat on the ground, silently wishing Josh would kill the man. I know I am becoming twisted, but I have a strong hate of people since last year when Asher...

Elissa looked over at the others. "Shouldn't one of us follow her? She's injured...." she said, frowning. "I can go in my bird form and scope out the scene."

"She told me to stay."

I see the man run away, and want to pursue him, but Josh doesn't so I quietly stand up and walk over to him.

Elissa sighed. "But did she tell you why? I hate sitting around here doing nothing," she said. She didn't mean to challenge Maya's judgement, but she also didn't want her to fight all her battles alone.

*Josh (Half Human)*

I suddenly pounce and land squarely on top of my father at the edge of the clearing. With a savage growl I kill him, using my fangs and claws. After a moment I seem to realize what I have done and step back off of him.
"He... he's dead" I say quietly, mostly to myself.

I see with satisfaction that Josh killed the man. I walk over to him, and rub my head on his leg, trying to comfort him after he realizes what he did.
