Kate was beginning to get feed up with the mans blunt ignorance and continued to look for a way out herself she was starting to regret the decision to stay put in the first place. However she wanted to learn more about the amulet she carried, and maybe this Lady Nephrys had some Intel on it, but she would have to find her on her own, or convince the stubborn old man otherwise.... there was something else bothering the little fox fairy as well... this leader was pretty quick to place blame on others, could he possibly be involved with this mishap? she though before returning to her search her eagle companion perched on her shoulder.

There's nothing to be found. After a while, the mages and the Nesryt leave you alone. Your eagle begins to chirp (or whatever it is that eagles do) and nibble at your fingers

What do you do now

Kate smiled much like her companion she was more open to ideas when others were not looming over her shoulder. Without hesitation she tried to determine what it was the young one was trying to communicate to her.

Follow them and try to find out who they are

Your eagle hops of your shoulder and starts pecking at a crack in the wall. Then it turns back to you and chirps again.

Kate tilts her head and wags her tail as she begins to understand, and she instinctively places the amulet next to the crack.

You follow the patrol and reach the Llyndai village. However, two guards block your way. The patrol enters, and you can hear sounds of activity inside. What do you do now?

The Amulet is the same size as the crack. You watch as it shakes slightly, moving a bit towards the crack. What do you do now?

The Amulet fits perfectly, like a key in a lock. There's a hissing sound, before a spell dissolves and reveals a trapdoor that had been hidden by an illusion. The wood of the door looks old and battered, with ominous scorch marks and dark spots.
