She chuckles, "Probably because you keep stealing food." She rolls her eyes, eating an apple slice as she stares at theceiling. .

"Ironhorse is off with the two streetrats, discussing strategy," Puck replied, ignoring her comment, stuffing the whole apple wedge into his mouth. "You should hear them--they think theyre in a James Bond movie or something. Hows the code going, Princess?"

"I really thought I had it, but then I just didnt." She mutters, beginning to pick at the sandwhich.

Puck sat up and put an arm around her. "This is nothing, Princess. This should be cake for you. Youre the one who took down the Iron King. You marched into the heart of enemy territory and kicked ass. This isnt any different."

She chuckles, "Whatever you say Puck." She chuckles, looking up at him.

Puck shifted so that he was facing her, tilting her chin to look at him square.

"Im here," he murmured, running fingers through her hair. "Dont forget that. No matter what happens, Ill protect you." He leaned in, resting his forehead to hers. "Ill never leave your side, no matter what comes at us. Count on it."

She smiles, closing her eyes. "I know, thank you."

And Puck kissed her. His lips were hesitant at first, brushing lightly against hers, giving her room to pull away.

She slowly moves back towards him, slightly hesitant.

Even so, he cupped the back of her head and kissed her in earnest.
