Sterling chuckled uneasily,"She never said kill me...i don't know what she's meant."

The moth got agitated and the chiming grew louder."If i can't convince you maybe he can" they told him.

Who can? Holt started to quicken the pace.

A dark shape was in the woods."I believe the little one was talking about me...you seem lost."it flowed a bit and ancient wise blues eyes looked at Holt keeping up with his running easily.The moth chirruiped at the strange creature

"....No, I didn't, aside from Selkie and Douglas." Kaladin muttered. He glanced at Calico and handed him the spyglass. "Though if it turns out they are my friends... Well, I hope they aren't too upset. I don't really want to fight you. If I did, you'd be bleeding already."

"We'll approach from tha stern, take out thar rudder." Locke explained. "But we don't fight 'til threatened. If it comes to tha, Drayke can monuver in ah way cannons can't touch 'im. We'll have ta board from tha crow's nest, Ah'm afraid. Maybe take out the sail on tha way down. Drayke freezes the water around tha ship, an' awaits further instructions while we fight fer our lives."

"She said throw you over board. Essentially a death sentence." Scimitar replied shortly.

Morgan kept tracking even though he had to cross a river that Holt has jumped. Morgan tried to jump from rock to rock only fall off the rock in the middle and land in the river. The river was fast and the current strong.

(Selkie is not really dead okay so don't cry.)
"I am aware of that trust me on that." Calico chuckled.
Douglas came out on deck, "Calico."
Calico turned to Douglas blocking Kaladin from his view.
"You said you needed a live otter."
"Yes I do need one."
"You will have to look elsewhere then. Selkie died last night." Douglas spoke.
"What?" Calico growled, "How did it happen?"
"He was sick when you brought him and his fever got worse and it was too much for his body to handle." Douglas explained, "At least let Kaladin say his goodbyes after all you aren't heartless Calico."
"Go." Calico dismissed Kaladin.


"I don't think its nessacery look at the deck." Caspian spoke.

Kaladin stood in shock for what felt to him like hours, though in all actuality was less then a minute. He didn't know what he was thinking, only that he suddenly felt stunned. Twitching slightly, he wordlessly walked over to Douglas, unaware of the tears welling up in his eyes...

"Ah'm agin', lad, you'll have ta tell me." Locke growled.

"Kaladin on deck but something is wrong." Caspian told Locke.

"Come on." Douglas lead Kaladin to the room Selkie was in.
Selkie was pale as death thanks to some clever make up tricks from Douglas.
Douglas grabbed Kaladin's hand and took the glove off then put it gently on Selkie's chest.
Selkie's heartbeat was weak but there. His chest rose slightly.
"This maybe our last chance to get off this ship alive okay. I used a potion I made to do this it even fooled the ship's doctor not that he is much of one." Douglas whispered.

"Were just here to take something." She finally said to the thing. She didn't like that echindna is asking questions.
