"Got it!" she said it was a few stories up and her tails lashed around a bit making the ladder waddle

"Easily." He replied, walking over to tbe cell door and working his claws in the lock. "How's Selkie?"

Scimitar folded his wings. "We could still use him as a bargining chip." He suggested, tail feathers fanned.

Blue held the ladder for Evermore.

Selkie coughed and his breathing sounded raspy.
"I think you can hear for yourself." Douglas muttered then his ear twitched, "Kaladin stop now." He hissed.

A few seconds later the door opened and a small purplish bird walked in, "Captain warned me you'd try something he says congratilations." The bird didn't look more then ten years old.

"I have reason behind what i'm doing,just do it" Void hissed



Evermore nodded gratefully and came down."You can read thru it if you want" she told the boys

"You arn't here to congratulate us on being held. Why are you here? What is it you want with a couple of children and a doctor?" Kaladin growled.

Locke got low on Drayke's back. "See anythin'?" He called to Caspian over the wind.

"Thank you." Caradoc spoke.
Blue stepped back from the ladder and nodded.

The bird looked at Selkie then the others, "I brought you dinner and came to check on the otter."
"Do you have a brother by any chance," Douglas asked.
"I did, he was killed by Black Beard." The kid answered quickly slipping their dinner between the bars then grabbing the mop to scrub the floors.


"Aside from your flea-bitten fur no." Caspian squaked.

Kaladin sat back and watched him a moment. "....It's night?" He asked after a long silence. "How long were we out?"
