He shook himself from the daze, knowing he had a mission.

Carly was asleep again by now, the sun already out of the sky, sending the world into darkness like it did every night.

Marco sat down by the window in the grass, curling up for the night.

Carly woke up early the next morning, getting changed before heading downstairs to make herself some coffee.

Marco was up all night, so he watched the sun begin to peak over the horizon.

Carly made herself some coffee, going and sitting outside. She noticed Marco, sitting down as she gestured for him to sit beside her.

He peaked over at her, blinked in surprise, and slowly came over.

"How you doing this morning? Stalking me still... interesting. You people never give up do you? Anyways you studying me? I promise there isn't much about me to learn," She said cheerfully.

He seemed stunned to be spoken to so much at once. He took a minute to find words. "Rumors say otherwise. But I was given a job."
