so i read trout's maker on art fight and it says that she doesn't mind if people use her art as long as they don't change it to make it theirs and provide a link to where they get the info

Dill, we've talked about this. Trout belongs to Kazulthedragon on devianart. Her art fight account most likely means that people can draw her character.

You posting her ref and using her for your own personal roleplay and writing out your own story for her is not ok. Kazul has already written out a story for the character she paid for.

I never said you could use Trout, I specifically asked you to remove her because she does not belong to you.

Please just use Frog in your roleplays going forward, using characters that don't belong to you is not only illegal, it can cause serious damage to the original artist as you are scamming them out of characters they've paid real money for.

but what your not getting is that i'm not making up a new story for her i'm using the same one on toyhouse i i will take her off anyway

The issue is that by roleplaying your creating a new story. And Kazul the dragon paid for Trout, she was adopted from an incredibly popular designer, those adopts sell from $30-60. The problem is that you cant just use someone elses character, keeping their info the same only adds fuel to the fire because it shows that you took the time to copy someone elses work rather than create your own characters.

Now that you have Frog, there is no reason to continue to use of characters that dont belong to you
