The candle in your lantern flickers dangerously as if it were on the edge of extinguishing.

No response.

I got to the fireplace to light it up.

Whatever you do, the wood didn't seem to want to light up.

It's made of the same paper the paper airplane was made of from before. The contents seem to be by multiple people. The first bit seems to be by the same person who wrote the stuff on the airplane.

I've arrived. There seems to be nobody else yet...

The mansion is big, I'll give it that. I guess the manor itself is even bigger. My invitation letter said there would be games, I'm exited, actually.

I've entered the building. The staircase sure is amazing!

I guess I'll explore a bit before going upstairs. The door to my left, it leads to the dining room. The door to my right... It's locked, but I assume it leads to the right wing. I wonder who lives there and needs such privacy, maybe it's my host?

Never mind, up the staircase I go. Three doors here. Center door is rooms, right door is rooms, and left door leads to... A library. Sure! I love books.

I think I see someone else here!

The entry by this person ends here. Their description is pretty accurate, just as you'd seen when you'd entered the mansion. A pair of double doors to the left, and a pair to the right. You read the next entry. This handwriting seems to be neater than the first, presumably older than them. The tone also seems different, as if this person worked a rather professional job that required knowledge of how to write in a very sophisticated way.

The mansion is big, but it seems foreboding. I am curious as to why I was called here. My invitation letter says that I would come to meet someone unexpected here, and that only makes the atmosphere thicker.

Why was I invited here?

At this point, the pages of the book seemed to start falling out. They swirled around you in a small storm, something very odd. Books began falling out of the shelf, their pages ripping out and joining the storm as well. Soon, so many pages are whirling around you that you can no longer see your surroundings, all you can see are the pages.

To make things worse, your lantern chooses this exact moment to blink out, leaving you in the dark, rustling of the whirling pages still in your ears.

Then, suddenly, you hear a sucking sound and a loud POP! And all is still.

The pages vanish, and you seem to be in the exact same room as before, but different... Sunlight streams in front the window before, confusing, as it was night seconds before the page storm.

The room doesn't seem to be broken down anymore. In fact, it seems like a nice place to live, everything clean and neat, and it seemed like it was frequently used.

And even though the room is now illuminated with warm sunlight, a cold chill passes through you, as if you were no longer alone.

You have entered multiplayer mode.

Hello there, sorry for this ping if it bothered you, but are you still interested? A lot of pages back you told me you would sign up if you had time.

This is just out of curiosity, I'm not pressuring you to sign up or anything.

You head down further into the dark hallway, your lantern only offering the tiniest bit of light against the blackness. It isn't long before you reach a large circular room, quite empty with nothing but a circular carpet on the floor and an old standing mirror in the center of the carpet.

There were windows on both sides of the room, but it was night outside, so they didn't offer much light either. When you explored and looked more closely, you find that the perimeter of the room was lined with candles, and the candles seemed relatively unused.

There was a door on the opposite side of the room, directly across from the hallway you'd entered from.

Odd, was this some cult or something, but that's just paranoia. Looking around the room nothing else seemed strange. But why would a mirror be in the middle of a room? Tantei walks towards the opposite side of the room to find a door, perhaps the noise came from there? They open the door.

The mirror the slip of paper had been sitting on was now changing... As you watched, cracks spread across its surface, splitting into many different mirrors, all reflecting a different you. Some reflections were covered in blood, smiling maliciously, while others looked somewhat confused.

All of them were you, you somehow knew that fact. One of them, one of the ones that looked more normal, beckoned you closer.

((Narrator will now answer any questions you have on DID so things are clear. Any questions? Ask away!))

((It turns out i've actually done a full length project over DID before so I actually know a fair amount lol))
I step closest to the most normal one and trace my hand over the mirror, watching to see if the reflection copies me. I try to ignore the more malicious of the reflections, looking at them out of the corner of my eye.

"We fight and we try to escape. Simple!" Emily gives you probably the vaguest answer possible. "Now, you're lucky that the Hunter this round is patient enough to wait for you. What were you even doing?"

When she mentioned the Hunter, whoever was in the huge chair facing away from you four shifted slightly.

"I heard someone crying and I wanted to make sure they were okay." I reply evenly while my mind races. my guess was that we had to kill other teams of prey or survivors or something while escaping the person in the chair.
