i noticed knuckles pick up his pace so instead of following him more, i headed back to my garage, once i was in my garage i played my music and started on making something, when i was done it was around dinner time and my stomach started growling, i put on my new visor and tap the earpiece, a figure that looked just like me appeared in my visor, "Midnight could you order a pizza please?" i asked, "sure, what kind?" the figure asked, "supreme." i replied, soon i heard a knock on my open door, got my money and went out and payed the person and took my pizza inside, i went over to my computer and took out a chip and put inside my earpeice, "Midnight could you get a map ready to Angel Island?" i asked, "sure." midnight replied, soon a green line appeared on my visor, i quickly ate my pizza and packed some money, my sketchbook and pencils and went out, i locked up and followed the green line til i came up to angel island. once i landed on the island i saw the Master Emerald, i dashed over to it and sat right in front of it and started sketching it.

Tikal sighed. "Why does this sort of thing only happen when Knuckles is gone?" Of course, being a spirit, Kit wouldn't be able to hear her. The Master Emerald flashed once, almost as if in annoyance. Almost.

i noticed the master emerald flash slightly, my ears and tail perked up, "midnight did you see the emerald flash a bit or is it just me?" i asked, "i saw it but just barely." midnight replied.

"They seem surprised. Why would it surprise them that a magical gemstone flashed?" Tikal pondered aloud.

i shook my head, i wandered the island sketching everything i saw, soon i returned back to where the Master Emerald was, i sat in front of it, "Midnight, could you run a diagnostic on the emerald?" i asked, "sure thing." Midnight replied, then i noticed what looked like a spirit in the emerald, i saw the spirit looking right at me, i quickly sketched the spirit, and then i felt the urge to touch the emerald, i reached out and lightly touched the emerald.

"Okay. Time to take matters into my own hands," Tikal sighed, incarnating herself so that she was visible. "Greetings," she said.

the spirit gained physical form, i fell back my eyes wide with terror, but i didn't run away, i sketched the spirit in physical form.
