He didn't think fast enough, so the keys just bounced off his head. He casually picked them up and swung them around his finger by the key ring. "Ok, gotchya, and the 'squishy thing' is called 'rubber'," he said, trying to sound cool but it just came off as lame. The keys flung off his finger and hit him again. "....they don't like me... owie...,"

Darn. Nothing. Knuckles thought, turning back to the hedgehog. "Look. Just next time, try not to doze off in the middle of the woods. I have both cobras and pythons on the island, and this particular area happens to be infested with them. So Tikal help me if I have to save-- ah, yep, see, there's one now," Knuckles gestured to the sizely python that was colied up in one of the trees. It flicked it's forked tongue at the two boys a few times, unblinking.
"Its a hangar, so there might be a control panel or something around here somewhere...." Sonic looked around. "Uh-huh..... any moment now......"
