July was in shock over the whole situation. Was he alright? He patted himself making sure he was not injured. "I-I think I'm alright." He stammered. "But w-who are you?"

"The goddess sent me, she wanted me to keep you safe. You and that girl. She said she already had a witch, a key holder, a naviator, and the two pawns all she needs was the guns of the operation. I'm the guns doing my job of killing any little creature that comes your way." The hooded figure said offering July a hand to help him up. The giant dog barked. "Oh and Rosco here is my steed."

theres no time for this Pepper thought panicked "we were coming out of the woods and a bunch of Harpies flew out and attacked us, Alaska ran over so I jumped on and tried to pull July with me. He pulled away and slapped Alaska on the rump tellen me to get out o there, now come on we need to help him!" She said her voice shaky and panicked "if you won't help me I'll go my self." She said then kicked her heels and began to gallop back to July

"Wait? You guys were out in the woods? What reason did you have for that?! Don't you know there's allsorts I monsters that hide in there? Never mind that now, sounds like we have a problem that needs to be handled." Maggie said jumping in Moose's saddle. "Lead the way!"

July stared at the dog then then the hooded figure. Slowly he took the persons hand and pulled himself up. "That goddess has unbeatable timing." He dusted his pants off. "I'm July by the-"

"I know. Your July and your sweet heart is Pepper. Heard she's going to have a baby, congratulations." The figure said. "Sorry, the goddess told me all of that...."

Pepper kept galloping as she got closer she saw that most of the harpies were gone the only ones left were either dead or far away In the distance. "What the." She said as she saw what seemed to be a huge dog and a man standing next to someone else who she knew to be July. She rode up to them and jumped off Alaska. She immediately went over to July and hugged him then pulled back to inspect for injuries "are you ok?" She asked

"Yeah I'm fine." July said looking over the hodded figure. "Just a bit confused. "

Pepper looked to the other man "Not to be rude but who are you?" She asked "and thanks for doing.... Whatever you did to get those Harpies away." She added

"Right, right I'm Desmon, Desmond Miles at your service." The hooded figure bowed to them lik he had put on a show. "And this is Rosco, my dog." The giant dog barked happily.

"Nice to meet you Desmond." Pepper said "this might seem like a strange question but did a goddess tell you anything?" She asked seems like almost anyone that runs into has been sent by the goddess pepper thought with mixed feelings
