she rolled her eyes, chuckling. *im not a medieval queen. a schools lunch would be good enough for me.* then she murmured, *especially considering i havent eaten for a few days.*

She gently nudges Luna forward, towards the table. "Well, we've got food for you, plus plenty for leftovers."

she smiled gratefully and sat, taking a pizza slice. *is this a good time to ask questions?* she asked.

She nods.

The owl woman opens her mouth to explain, but Jaariin excitedly interjects. "We're bird people!" He proudly shows off his fluffy feathers. "Pretty cool, right?"

she rolled her eyes, chuckling. *yeah, i know what. i mean, everything. in detail. not just bird people. because thats obvious.*

For once, he actually stops to think. He tilts his head in a birdlike motions. "I dunno. We're also kinda spider people, I guess? And sorta squirrels, too," he points to owl-lady, "since her kind have the big fluffy ones instead."

she nodded. *but what can you guys do? Owl-Lady here told me a bit, but i would like to know it all.*

"We can fly and stuff!" He grins eagerly. "Oh and also, our bites make people stop moving for a while! It comes in handy when people are being rude. Not as handy if I'm kissing someone."
