it thudded into the pheasant and it fell down. it squawked once but Lotus quickly finished it off

"Good boy" she picked up the pheasant, "This'll keep the four of you fed for a few days, anyway. Lets get something else and head back. Pick up any scents?"

He scents the air and shakes his head. The pheasant's sqwuak must have warned any other prey around to hide.

They seem fine then you notice something strange, there was a watery blue egg and saddle bag in the nursery
