she just began walking to the house, hoodie up, feeling numb. she didnt want to be here. she just wanted to be alone. she wanted all of this to be over.

The owl follows her quietly. The flowers around the place smell nice, at least. But, that's kinda marred by the smell of wet dog that's presumably coming from the wolf thingies.

she sighed, looking at the van. she could take it, drive off, and dissapear. no one would hear from her again.

no one would be burdened by her.

she wouldnt take up space.

she wouldnt ruin anyones lives.

she was fine with that.

she debated bolting back and driving off, and she was leaning towards running.

The house's door suddenly opens.

she turned around, curious.

The creature standing there is somehow both worse and better than the owl's true form. It's a solid ten feet tall, for starters- absolutely massive. It has three long, fluffy parts to its tail, very similar to how a bird tail should look. It's wearing a long cloak that goes all the way down to its clawed, nearly comically skinny feet, and its wings are absolutely massive. All in all, it looks prettier than the first while being much more intimidating.

she blinked. *right. Dad drugged me again. im going home.* she said, heading back to the van.

"Daariin!" The owl snaps angrily. "How many times do I have to tell you not to show your true form?"

The big guy, apparently named Daariin, tilts his head. "Why not?"

"It scares the humans!"

He blinks and glances at Luna. "She doesn't seem scared." He tilts his head further. "Are you? Because if you are you're doing very quiet screams."

"Just turn back to your human form."

"Why not? She's not scared. She's just admiring how handsome I am."

she walked up to Daariin and punched him in the face. *lets make this clear. i do not fear you. but you are not handsome. you are disgusting. now, im not here of my own free will. i am here because that bird made me homeless. now prove to me that my time here is worth it or im dissapearing forever so i dont take up anyone elses time or effort for a lost cause. good? good.* then she punched him again, went to the owl, punched her, and then walked to the house.

Noting he's twice her height, she can't punch him in the face. And, the punches don't do much either, because all he does is chuckle like a child on Christmas and happily pick her up. "She's so cuuuuute! We really do need to find more of these ones- the adults are so boring!"

"Put her down."

"Why would I? She doesn't mind. She said it herself- she's not scared!"

"Humans don't like being baby-talked to or picked up. It's condescending."

"No it's not! She's cute! Like a puppy, or a kitten!"

"Put her down, Daariin."

"There isn't anything wrong with it!"

"If you don't, I'll tell your mom."

Daariin thinks about this for a moment, then exasperatedly puts down the 'cute' Luna.
