"To summarize, I don't think all animals hate you. That seems as impossible as a turtle learning how to fly without the help of the golden eagle." Kalib quiets some as he rocks back, one hand tapping his thigh as he nibbles one of his cookies.

Virgil smiled at what Kalib said to Grey. Virgil know that all animals can be mean to Grey, he just needs to find the right animal that likes him.

(Alright, let's get a move on, then.)
Eventually 8:00 rolled around and it was time for the group to join the chief at the town hall. A bing echoed through the building, followed by a voice that could belong to none only but Pollo.
This signals the group to drop what their doing, gather their stuff and go down stairs to join the large and cheerful man.
This time, Pollo's sister was with him- she seemed a lot less stiff as before. If studied close enough, a small smile could even be noticed. Lane and Pollo were talking cheerfully and it was noticeable how much Bane was staring at her.
Soon enough, Pollo noticed the group and interupted himself to greet them.
"Hello, Harbingers! Are you all ready to talk to the chief and figure out the plan?" , He bumbled, standing up straight.
Aryn was close to Oris the whole decent of the stairs, lazily humming, his hands shoved in his pockets. He wasn't really paying attention to anything, entrusting his counterpart to essentially lead the way. He nearly bumped into the Peace Harbinger twice, but his reflexes kept him from stumbling.

Grey walks silently with the rest, subconsciously moving closer to Kalib. Hopefully, the others will behave and this meeting won't wind up a complete train wreck.
