Tala
"I wanted to protect her purity, but she denied it. She's won't be lucky for long. Once she see the dangers of this world, she'll be wanting me to protect her for life. I can feel it." he said, wiping away his tears.

Fala
She darkly walked out of the room, slow. "The only thing that you're doing is being overprotective." She was looking down at the ground, not having the heart to look at her brother. "You're keeping me from learning about life, and I have to know so I can keep us with it. And stop talking about that!" she shouted, her voice breaking.

Tala
"Fine, you win this time, but you will regret learning about this crazy world." He walked away, going back to his cage.

Fala
She sat down, her head lowered. She was quietly crying. She only heard him laughing and him saying that he wanted to keep her pure, not knowing that Tala was also talking about love.

Warren
Warren pressed his flank into Fala's, and said, "It's okay. I'll keep him from hurting you."
He began licking the tears off Fala's face.

Fala
"Thank you." she said softly. "I've used to take my brother's advise, but now I don't. Me learning from him led to trouble. And as the older sibling it's worst. But I swear, I want him to stop talking about my 'gift'. It's a curse!"

Warren
"Your shapeshifting is a gift. So is the magic," Warren whispered soothingly.

Fala
"Thanks again, but those are fine. There's another power or as I like to call it a mutation that I didn't mention. My brother's laughing at me because of it being out of the ordinary. I've even heard some of the vets say it behind my back, but I didn't say anything." Her wings were twitching, her looking down at her gloved paws.

Warren
"It causes you to lose control of your magic, doesn't it?" Warren asked

(No, I didn't plan on that. The two do feel similar in a way, but no. Fala's staying Fala.)

Fala
"No. You see my gloves right?" she asked.

(Okay.)
Warren
"Yes," Warren said.

Fala
She took a deep breath, about to tell Warren. "My parents told me that I'm way different than other wolves as you can see, but the feature that struck my doctors the most is that I don't have that ugly part that we need for some crazy reason. But my doctors found out that I needed gloves because my paws are acting like that ugly part. My parents say that I have to keep it on for as long as I live."
