I was the same way but I think that I was more scared of leaving home than any thing. So I chose a college that is close to home but not in the same town (still has some of my family in the town that the college is in though), it is just about 45-50 min away. Thanks and good luck in college when you get there. : )

I think I'm planning on going to a college in the same state. It'll still be pretty far away, but not as far as going cross-country or something :)
I'm not particularly scared of leaving home, but I do want to be nearby. Ish. But still, I guess I'll find out when I look into this stuff...
