Rookie blinked at her and fixed his glasses. "Weeeeellll....?" He said expectantly, tilting his head slightly.
Sonic peered inside the large entryway. He snuck in and gestured for Pearl to follow. "Come on," he whispered.
Knuckles trotted down the steps. Better make sure he didn't get bit by a snake or something... why do I even bother?

Knuckles eventually found Shadow. "'I'll be fine', he says. 'I don't need to sleep, something something about being the Ultimate Lifeform', he says," Knuckles muttered, rolling his eyes. He stalked over to him and punched him in the shoulder, not hard enough to leave a mark, but hard enough to wake Shadow up and possibly punch him back, which the echidna could take, so he didn't care. "Up and at 'em. Only bats sleep this long during the day," he said flatly.
Sonic crept along the wall for a few moments and then zipped over to the next wall, banging his head on something metal in the process. "Ouch!" He hissed.
