After another minute or so of struggle, Knuckles (inevitably) broke free of Sonic's grasp, forcefully shoving him to the side. He stormed out of the room, rather loudly, shouting several insults that were directed at Pearl. Sonic slumped to the floor, spent. "...Man, I forget how strong he is when he's injured... Still second to none..." he managed. "Shadow, go make sure he doesn't do anything dumb... get me something to drink while your at it...."
