Vyrhys and Torion are talking, sharing information and theories. The two.... cousins?..... look slightly restless and uneasy.

Dereemis

She kept Wyrynn busy while the guard went to Torion.

Guard

"Sir, we believe we found a suspect."

Torion turns to face the guard. His antennae unfurl in surprise. "Ah! Y-you did? Interesting, who?"

Guard

"An individual called Wyrynn. One of our refugees talked with him and he acted very suspicious. And the murder occurred when he arrived."

Vyrhys pales, but he doesn't want to seem disrespectful and dump suspicions on himself so he nods. Torion nods slowly. "Alright, we'll keep your suspicions in mind. Thank you." Isn't that one of Vyrhys' friends? That'd certainly be embarrassing for the both of us if he were the murderer.

"What? Look, he is innocent. Last night, he was right beside me the whole night! Who told you this?"

Guard

"Well, Dereemis, but, she has been here for years, and has protected us from many threats."

Torion ponders this for a second. Wyrynn is certainly strong enough to have snapped the neck of the victim, but if the Ledian is telling the truth, he can't have been present at the crime scene. And does he have any motives? Apparently he was locked up by the conquerors for a little more than a hundred years- yikes- so insanity could be a possibility. Still, something about it doesn't seem right.

"maybe we should ask Dereemis why she thinks this."

"Sounds like a rational thing to do," Torion says as calmly as possible. Wyrynn still doesn't know people suspect him, but he sees them giving him weird looks. "Uhhhh, guys, what's going on?"
