Grey sighs, relieved at Maddy's innocence. "Eh, I used to..... but to be honest, animals are afraid of me for some reason. With the amount of times I've been bitten by an animal....." He says, shaking his head.

The fact that Gray had issues with animals didn't escaped Oris, while it did make sense as the harbinger of death it also could be placing him in a bad spot if this natural reaction was also present within the beasts they were suposed to fight. There was a lot of 'if' in that possibility and Oris while very observant wasn't the most booksmart around especialy when it came to those creatures but keeping an eye on his teammates while fighting was alwais for the better eather way.
