Flux sighed, then headed back to Mochi. It was fun being able to relax and goof off instead of having to be worried about her life. She licked the remains of the watermelon off of Mochi, marveling at how good they tasted.

Naelan reverted to her regular form as Ruumbo left, an turned to Kae'rien, saying, "Love, I won't bite. You can com out."

"Ruumbo and I go way back. We were friends at one time, or so I thought. Then I became an Archwolf. At that point, I realized that he'd been lying to me all along. Then I met you."
"E-excuse me, b-but, weren't you g-going to t-take me to m-my mother?" Argentfur asked tentatively.
"Yes, child, we are. Now, Kae, lead on," Naelan said gently.
Kae'rien lead them to Arrowsky's den, and All three flew in. As they landed, Winterclaw immediately materialized at Argentfur's side, rubbing his fur against hers. "Argentfur! You're back!" He looked at Kae'rien and Naelan, and said, "Thank you!" He turned, and cried, "Mother! Argentfur's back!"
