You make it to the second landing. There was a pair of grand but broken doors to your left, a hallway to your front, and a hallway to the right.
There was another pair of doors downstairs as well if you wanted to explore. You explored the left doors, but not the right.
Blinking at the light he remembers about the right door down stairs, he heads back down, he doesn't want to miss anything.

The door is half open, it's very dark inside and your lantern throws a tiny bit of light into the room through the crack of the door. The laughter stops abruptly.
I enter the room cautiously. "I'm not going to hurt you." I say as I push the door fully open.

Oktavian nods, gently carrying her pup towards then medicine den. "We need to find a healer," she tells you, "Do you know of any packs I could head to?"
Zelix is silent, eyes stretched wide with worry and Mimosa also seems concerned.
I nod "yeah, whats the objective. What are we supposed to do when we go in."

The candle seemed different from the others in the room. It seemed to be an entire while, the candlestick and the candle itself. It also seemed to be stuck to the mantle of the fireplace.

The right door on the first landing opens without much of a sound. Upon entering, you hear a slight chuckle from the darkness stretching out before you.

You push the door open, entering a large, dusty, old room. From your point of view, there was a small fireplace on the right wall, a dusty painting hanging over it, and before it, an armchair. Next to the fireplace, leaning on the wall, was a full body mirror. On the wall directly opposite of you was a large arched window, part of it broken. Through it, you could very vaguely make out a few trees in the night. In front of the window horizontally there was what looked like a very luxurious bed that was in disrepair. Against the wall left of you there was a piano. There seemed to be candles here and there in the room. Other than that, everything was way too dark for you to see anything of detail.
No sign of whoever laughed.

When she mentioned the Hunter, whoever was in the huge chair facing away from you four shifted slightly.
