The fireplace was stacked with some dry wood that looked new, there was no poker in sight. The smudges on the paper seemed old, so you couldn't exactly identify them.
Something seemed to be different, and that something was that now the mirror beside the fireplace seemed to have a slip of paper balanced precariously on top of the top edge of the mirror.

You exert a lot of strength and finally manage to inch the door open enough so you could squeeze through. The hinges seemed to be broken, which was probably why it was so challenging for you. Inside seemed to be a dining room with a long table and several chairs around it.
There wasn't much things inside, but why was the door broken like that, perhaps the answers are lost in time. Turning back out maybe it was time to search upstairs.

You headed down to the end of the hall and entered the door there. You were then in a rather large room with floor to ceiling windows on one side, and light would be streaming in if they weren't all boarded up. The room was divided in half by a large curtain, and there were curtains around the perimeter of the room as well. On your side of the curtain there was a large long dining table with candles and plates, four chairs around one side, all facing the curtain. Emily was there, cheerfully talking to the person you could assume was Mr. Riley, Emma looked like she was getting ready something, fiddling with her toolbox.
Mr. Riley:
As you took the last available seat at the table, Emma smiled at you while Emily's demeanor suddenly changed and muttered something to Riley about you being late. Now that you were seated and facing the curtains, you could see that there was an opening in the middle, and you could see a large magnificent armchair facing away from you four. As wonderful as the armchair looked, whoever was sitting in it gave off a dark aura.
I smile back at Emma and nod hello to Riley and Emily. waiting to see what would happen next
As you stood there thinking, a very strange phenomenon started happening. The glass of the mirror - it began to crack. In the individual pieces after the cracks you could see many of you, by they were all looking at you differently. One of them gestures for you to come closer.
I walk over the mirror slowly, still scanning the room with my eyes as I gab the paper to read it. I knew I need to find where the papers are coming from

You make it to the second landing. There was a pair of grand but broken doors to your left, a hallway to your front, and a hallway to the right.
There was another pair of doors downstairs as well if you wanted to explore. You explored the left doors, but not the right.

Mr. Riley looked at you curiously, but otherwise didn't say anything to you, he just fiddled with his piece of paper and occasionally made comments in response to Emily and Emma talking.
"Any questions before we go in?" Emily asked you, a tad bit impatiently.

Some of the reflection yous, covered in blood, laughed silently and smiled maliciously. The you who had gestured you forwards pointed at a candle on the fireplace.

The paper seemed to be a medical slip.
Name: Kayden
Gender: Female
Diagnosed with: Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID)
Notes on behavior and symptoms: Switching of identities at random, amnesia of times in different identities, claims to have blacked out when other identities took over, things learnt in different identities seem to prevail in implicit memory.
You couldn't figure out where they were coming from.

I go to the candle
