"He runs off all the time, im surprised she hasnt lost him yet." Lishian flashes the waitress a smile. "So, quick question: any noteworthy places around here? Havent been here much before, and we'd like to get to know the place a bit since we're here and all."

"oh! well there isn't much aside from the shops here in Vesuvia, you know how the capital is" she luaghs, waving her hand "but a few miles down all the way in Onsa there's an amazing whale watching ferry that will take you to the island itself, and the Fae there are quite nice!" the waitress says, giving us a smile.

"thank you" i say, though i mean it to both Lishian and the waitress. "would you mind telling me the total?" Eli speaks up. "it will be thirty four Cleera" she says, shoving the notepad in her pocket.

"Please tell me you guys actually bought money, i'm still broke." Lish turns to the other, makint a very believable expression. "Oh, by the way, whats the transport scene here? I have some ways to travel." He quickly asks the waitress as Hanako starts digging in her pockets as if looking for a wallet.

"there are plenty of taxis in the area" the waitress informs us "if you don't have Cleera on you, we do take mosst other currencies" she adds.

"do you take US dollars?" i ask, hoping she's heard of the place. "yes, it will be fifteen of those" she says, smiling brightly. i hand her my twenty bucks - fifteen plus a tip - and we grab our stuff, heading for the door.

"Great! Thanks, ma'am!" Lish flashes another smile aa he leaves. A sile that disappears the moment they get outsid.e "Alright, i dont know what a yaxi is, but based off the fact they take US currency here we're either on Earth or we're in an alternate universe. Be right back."

Hanako stared. "Wha- How do you not lnow what a taxi is- oh hes gone."

Lishian went back inside the restaurnt. "Hey Ma'am, you happen to know where like a visitors center or hotel is? I want to mess with thw others and drag them to a tourist destination or aomwthing." He grins.

"i'm sorry but the shopping district doesn't have any hotels" the waitress frowns, as she picks up the silverware and wipes down the table for the next customers. "there's probably some good hotels in Askya, though" she says, thinking for a moment.

"Uh, can i get directions? Havent been these parts much." Lishian lets out a nervous laugh.

Outside hanako is tapping ber foot. "I swear, hed better be asking something useful ......" she grumbles "Hes great with his words but thats usually because of the narrators...."

"i can offer you a map, but other than that i need to get back to work" the waitress says, pulling a folded up map from her apron with the stores logo on the top. with that, she turns, greeting the next customers as they come in the store.

"Thanks!" Lishian grins, then rejoined the group. "Yo guys, I got a map."

"Did you steal it?" Hanako asks, brow raised.

"Hanako, I am aiming to be a man of the law, I have no time for such crimes as stealing."

"You deal in the black market."

"I have ways. Getting information and talking with criminals is not a crime." Lishian shrugged. "Anyways, we can probably find hotels in Askyn or something."

"where's Askyn?" i ask, glancing at the map in his hand. it's folded up, so i can't see much, but what i can see is part of what looks to be a large land form taking up most of the map.

"check the map" Eli suggests, glancing around. there's a lot of people around, and some of them aren't quite...normal, per se. most noticably is a tall woman with blue skin and hair the exact yellow-ish white of lemonaid, and four arms. i try not to stare, but i can't help it.
