If you were lucky, people would assume you were just a fake who managed to snatch the name first, but of course, someone was bound to recognize you eventually. Whether is be from appearance or username there was no hiding forever.

Luckily for you, the game spawned you in with some rather plain looking clothes. It seemed like a basic t-shirt and adventurers pants accented with a dull shade of your favorite color.

It probably wouldnt be the best idea to linger in the empty room for too long. If you stay back too long you might fall behind, and there definitely wouldnt be any secrets in the spawn rooms.

He heavw sout a huff at the clothes before leaving the spawn room. No point sticking around.

This was one of the times he waw glad he rarely used a facecam (unless one of his frienda made him do so for something). He could get away with not being noticed until he started talking.

He kept his eyes open for anything of interest.

Looking around you didn't see any familiar faces, all you saw was some people shrieking in delight as they recognized a friend, others seemed absorbed in the lovely scenery. The large room you found yourself in looked something like this



It was hard to tell anything significant from inside. The only things of note in the room were people talking to each other. The only ones who stood out to you were two guys who already looked ready to fight each other, and a lone girl who looked lost and confused.

Besides them, the outside world seemed most intriguing, there were bound to be even more people out there, but that's also where the main adventure of the game took place.

Phoenix raises his eyebrow at the fighters- geez, it hasnt been tht long chillax dudes- and then turns and walks to the girl. Because shut up IRL friends he's not a cold hearted beast who does nothing but ignore people, he literally is in a gaming group-

Anyways he goes over. Once in reaosnable earshot, he talks. "Hey there, you alright? You look a bit overwhelemed."

*H-huh? Oh! Uh, yeah, sorry I guess big crowds just make me nervous my friend promised she would help me find my way around but we got separated and now I cant find her* the girl looked around distressed. *She said we would meet up on the spawn area once we got into the game I didnt think there would be this many people!* she girl said in clear distressed as her eyes frantically flickered around the crowd.

*Her username is Iyonder, she has short black hair um Im not sure what she looks like in game though, and shes also kind of short finding her in this crowd feels like its impossible* the girl whined, hands fidgeting nervously.

The name Iyonder sounded incredibly familiar to you, likely from outside the game.

He wracks his brain. "Hmm, I think ive heard that name before. Ill be happy to help you look, Im not doing anything at the moment." He says. He wonders if Iyonder is another internet personality, or maybe one of those leaderboard players that keep popping up.

The girl gives you a grateful smile as the two of you begin searching around, all the while trying to not draw attention to yourself.

It took around 10 minutes, but you finally managed to locate her on the opposite end of the ballroom surrounded by a crowd of people..

"Iyonder!" The girl you were helping exclaimed, shoving herself through the crowd, leaving an opening for you to view. Iyonder's expression didn't change, but she gave a welcoming hug to the girl you has been assisting.

"Amella, I'm so glad you found me, I was getting worried I wouldn't be able to find you" Iyonder said in a monotone voice.

"I wouldn't have been able to if this guy hadn't helped me out!" Amella gestured to you, and Iyonder nodded in your direction.

"I'm very grateful you helped us find each other" She might've thank you, but it was kind of hard to tell with her complete lack of emotion and expression

A small popup appeared in front of you

(His personal channel has maybe a million, and the channel he shares with 4 of his friends has a couple more then that. Been a good number of years since they started too)

Phoenix rolls his eyes at the popup and gets rid of it. "Investigation skill, that better npt be some weird joke. Uh, yeah, glad you found your friend Amelia."

Iyonder gives you another once over. *Oh, Phoenixboy, youre a gaming youtuber too, yeah?* Iyonder looked at you with a still completely blank expression.

*Wait. Youre like. The ACTUAL Phoenixboy? Omg Iyo no wonder youre so excited!* Amella exclaimed. *Yes, I admire your work very much, this is so exciting* Iyonder responded, her dull voice completely betraying her words, sounding as if she were reading a shopping list rather than meeting a hero of hers. Although she did move a hand up to push the corner of her mouth into what looked like it was supposed to be a smirk.



(By the way, if you drop your Alexs friends usernames I can incorporate them more into the story, or if youd like I can make an oc gaming group for him to be part of, I already have a team thought up)

(Theyre all in that rpg btw) but if youve already got a lineup go for it- i dont mind, i have to do some revamping anyways on Phoenixs group (theyre called the Legends according to my notes anyways but idk if thats because i made them during my rpg or not- i know for a fact only 3 out of the 6 people i created for the whole thing have actual personalities that arent under 10 words long-)

"Yup, thats me. Ive heard your name around too, dont rmemeber when or where for sure but hey, cool to hear you like the content." Phoenix nods. He lets a small smile slip- well, half a smile. He has a reputation after all.
