Rodan kept flying, then roared in surprise and pain as the people opened fire. The bullets bounced off the monster, bit they got close to Oris.

He yelp and try to scramble away, as mutch as he could seeing that he was stuck on the back of a monster anyway.

Rodan roared and knocked a few helis out of the sky, but most kept attacking.

Well, that wasnt good, felt trapt as he keept cligning on the creature's back hoping not to get thrown off or shoot. It's not like he could do anything else realy, so far the kaiju seemed somwhat docile when it came to being rided but ... His though process went to a grinding halt as a new, a bit craisy idea came into his mind, what if the large monster could understand him.

Rodan simply glanced at him and smirked, nodding.

It could understand him.

And he seemed to understand it.

Rodan then roared and took off, flying in a random direction. However, Rodan seemed to know where he was going.

He froze at that, not expecting it to actualy react at his thoughs but let the large beast bring him to whatever they were going too.

the helis lost them after a bit.

then Rodan looked at his rider and mimed holding his breath, beginning to dive to the ocean below.

He catch on preaty fast on what he had to do and hold his breath.

Rodan then dove into the water, the water boiling near him. his momentum guided them into a tunnel, before he began going up. then they surfaced in a massive underwater cave, easily able to hide almost any kaiju, and able to hold maybe a dozen there. bats and animals shrieked and fluttered as Rodan crawled out of the water, drying instantly.

the cave was crazy. it was massive, with crystal walls. if a miner came down here, they would be rich on finding this place, never mind taking any gems.

He gasped as they emerged both to catch up his breath from the dive and from the beauty of the scenary. Since they were no longer in the air he sat up, keeping an hand on Rodan to avoid slipping and falling off, that would be a very dumb way to go after everything that just happened.
