The medic nods enthusiastically. "That's right! You are Petra then, and the bat pup is Jormungand?" Etheret's purple eyes become stern and concerned. "You must have taken quite a fall..... Amarin here," Etheret shoots the man a glare- "Says he found you like this by the river. From what I can tell, you have several broken bones and, ah, quite a few surface wounds. Nothing like we haven't fixed before, but it'll take a couple weeks to heal."

Etheret frowns. "Work?" He sighs, rubbing his temples. "I assume you mean in the Overland.... oh dear."

"Calm down! You don't want to make those injuries any worse," Etheret warns. "We'll try to get you back home as soon as possible, but....."
"We're in the middle of a war and most of the known exits to the Overland are incredibly dangerous," Amarin finishes.
"One could put it that way," The medic sighs, hanging his head. "You're.... probably stuck down here for a while."

Calliope chuckles at Jormungand, but her expression immediately turns to a serious one. "Is the little one hurting you?" She says, voice mildly concerned.
Amarin is unruffled by Petra's death glare, but Etheret looks a bit nervous. "...ah, well then-!"

Calliope nods, sitting back contentedly but still with a slight edge to her posture. (As opposed to Amarin, whose stance makes it clear he doesn't give a-)
Etheren nods. Most likely, she'll need something for the pain.... and we need to get her to sleep so we can set the bones. This.... is going to be difficult, isn't it.
