Virgil looks at everyone that comes to shore. He grabs his scythe and gets ready to move and defend himself. "I have a bad feeling on this," Virgil thought to himself and tightens his grip on his scythe.

Virgil just shrugs his shoulder at Grey to say that he didn't know. He starts to comb his hair with his fingers to get most of the water out. After a few minutes his hair is slightly damp.

Aryn had to wade through the lake, blinded from the plants and kicked up mud. He couldn't swim because his saw was much heavier than him, so he was basically being dragged down instead of where he wanted to go. When his head broke the surface, his hair covered his face, causing him to look like the wall mart version of cousin it.
Eventually he joined everyone else on shore, shaking some of the water off. He blinked a few times, looking at his teammates. "I honestly hate water." , He said as he checked if his weapon was damaged. Thankfully it was only a little waterlogged.
"Mads, you're kinda the leader here, do you have the map to the settlement on your holopad." , He said, facing the Life Harbinger with crossed arms.

Virgil looks at his counterpart slightly but remain silent. Virgil sighed and took his wet gloves to get another pair of gloves that are dry. He quickly puts them on. Virgil then looks around the area.

Kalib stands and heads to the nearest tree, making sure not to travel too far from his team. He climbs the tree, going out on the limb of it to sit above the group. He feels comfortable and safe on the tree's thin branch, having yet to fall out or have one fall from under him. He trusted the tree with his life and he's not that high up, just a couple inches above Aryn's head. If he were anywhere else on anything else it would be a completely different story. Kalib waits for Maddy's reply, though he uses his perch to his advantage and searches for the village or any beasts, humming and kicking his feet like a child as he kept an eye out.

He quietly waited for the others to join the shore, during that time he had pulled out his blades holding them in a defensive position as he activated his power on a low range to scan the area close to the shore just in case somthing would have tryed to sneak up on them. He turned his attention to the one who was suposed to be in charge of the mission, staring at her with a calm yet serious look, waiting for an answer to Aryn's question.

Virgil sighed and sat down on a rock waiting for his counterpart to replies to Aryn's question. Virgil grabs his scythe and puts it on his lap.

"yeah" she said lowly looking up getting to her feet brushing her hair from her eyes and digging in her bag moving away candy wrappers and such pulling the map from it and handing it to him "here it is" she pulls away and rings out the end of her shirt leaning against a tree
