Nellie

She gave her a nod of approval. "Hi Jazzy! I got some stuff for a stew!" Nellie smiled.

Seren helped take the gathered food into the kitchen tunnel and looked through it. He set up one of the small pots the group had with some water and started boiling the amaranth. He sorted the other berries, roots and leaves into a small organizational thing he'd carved. it wasn't fancy, just some holes carved into a piece of wood he'd found that was a few inches thick. Meanwhile, Asurial put the plant guide she'd been using away and started looking for the book she'd found on making traps for hunting. Once she found it, she pulled out som rope and started practicing the knots, getting ready for later.

Jazzy smiles brightly and gives Nellie a welcome back hug before jumping back and keeping her hands to herself. She nods briskly, her smile now gone as her prickly pineapple skin shows again. "How can I help?" She asks. Jack hands Nellie everything he had gathered, Tiggy now back in his hands.

"You can help make it, or help me get everything clean." Nellie said cheerfully.

Seren came out of the kitchen tunnel. "who wants to come help cook?" he asked. "I still only know so much." He ducked back in and continued sorting the food gathered earlier. and once everything was sorted out, he checked on the amaranth, stirring carefully. he took a cloth, and using it as a pot holder,carried to pot to the entrance of the cave. It was heavy, especially for someone his age, and as he carefully poured the water outhe accidentally splashed some on his leg. He yelped and nearly dropped the pot. Asuriel ran out at the sound of his yell. "Are you okay?" She asked. he made a 'don't know' type gesture and pulled his pant leg up. he carefully lowered his leg into the cool water from the fall in front of the camp entrance, trying to ease the pain.

Asuriel hurried inside. "Do we have any aloe?" she asked "I don't want to attempt a raid on a shop, and we can't exactly wander in and buy burn medicine." She started digging through the books, trying to find things to help burns. "Honey could help, but we don't have any of that. I did think I saw a hive when we first made our way to camp, but it would still be difficult to collect. plus it could have been wasps not bees" she kept searching.

Jack yelps along with Serene, running over and giving him a big comforting hug. He offers Serene Tiggy in an attempt to comfort and help him. "I can go check. I know the differences between bees and wasps." Jack says.
Jazzlyn was about to agree when Serene got hurt. "Yes, Jack, you know the differences, and I taught you them. But you aren't in the condition go gather honey. I will go." She says. She planned on using smoke to calm the bees down before stealing the honey.

Asuriel nodded. "Thanks, I'll come too. " She grabbed a box of matches, "We can gather green grass or branches on our way," she turned to Seren "keep your burn in the water, we'll be back soon" Seren nodded and started playing with a loose thread on his pants. Asuriel started making her way through the forest, towards where she'd seen the possible bee hive. as she went, she grabbed greener branches and grass, anything that looked as though it would smoke rather than burn. She'd grabbed a small bowl back at camp to collect honey in.

Jazzlyn smiles and waves goodbye to Nellie and Jack as she follows Asuriel, ignoring the stabbing pain all across her chest and sides. She helps gather the green wood with Asuriel, admiring the fact that Asuriel thought and planned. However, Nellie was definitely the best for all the right reasons and a few Jazzlyn couldn't explain.
Jack pouts, wanting to go with his sister as well. Instead, he turns to Nellie once Asuriel and Jazzlyn were out of sight, "I think Jazzlyn likes you." With that comment, he turns his attention to helping Serene and trying to cheer him up. He playfully bops his playmate on the nose, trying to get him to smile.

Asuriel stopped Jazzlyn and pointed up. "Here" she said, pointing to the hive. She started to bind the wood and grass together and pulled out the matches. She tied some dried grass into the bundle so the green stuff would light.
