"Nice punch, I admit," Blackout said letting the shadows wrap up Will's legs, "But you can't fight forever. And I don't teach magic! So please be quiet. Or I'll be the person to kill you with magic. That's a promise."

Will looked pissed, not able to move his legs now, "Of course, it's always me. Can't you go after someone else for once?"
"No, we need your powers," Blackout said as Will paled.
"I don't have powers! So why do you want me," He retorted though he looked a bit shocked, hands shaking a bit.

"Aw. That's sad. I can be very charming. You're missing out. I promise I'd be a good student." Austyn says. (Yeah, one of my irl friends is surprised that he hasn't been stabbed or killed yet. Sure, Riley's beat him up before, but he has yet to kill him.)

Azrail hasn't felt so useless since... Well, when has he ever truly felt appreciated and accepted? He wrote on a piece of paper, "Do you have to have his magic only or can you take anyone's magic. If you can take anyone magic, take mine instead, please." Always time for manners. He shows the paper to Blackout, hoping that Blackout wouldn't have to take whatever magic Will might have from him.

(Dimonica (Personification of my evilness): I can change that! Me: Shhh, no killing... for now)

"Good... good for making me lose my sh*t. If you don't leave me alone I'll kill you, chatty mouth! I'm not called the Shadow Master for the fun of it," He hissed then read what Azrail wrote, "Only Will's. I don't need you, I need him! He is something we need to open the gates!"

Will froze, "Your not talking about m-"
"Yup, I know about your powers. Some people still remember the accident," Blackout said with a shrug.
"I don't have powers!"
"Don't lie, we all know you do!"
Will growled, "I do not! If I did I would be dead by now!"
"Yeah right, you killed a assassin all by yourself. I don't think you remember what ha-"
"I killed someone?!"

"You'd regret killing me. People like me, you see. You would get a lot of people angry at you." Austyn notes. "Can I also have a cool nickname like the shadow master? It makes you sound a lot more cool and regal than you are." (There he goes again, talking before thinking it through... And literally, everyone I've told - except that one friend who is surprised he's still alive - loves Austyn. The first time I told my siblings about Austyn, they adopted him as their own. Edit: I just asked my siblings what they would do if Austyn was killed and it was confirmed that they would kill the killer.)

(My extremely flawed plan that actually isn't my own. It's happened before, people doing it, but it only lasted a few years before it got shut down.)
"I don't like Austyn either. If you need help killing him, I will gladly assist." Riley says before talking to Zio. "So I found a possible solution that would make sure nobody's better than anybody, but it has one big flaw that would make it useless: human nature. You see, everyone would have to share what they have. The doctors would help people free of cost, the farmers would put their foods in a storage where everyone can take what they need - no more, no less -, the tailors would make clothes and out them in a place where people can take what they need. It would involve a lot of selfless people. I know I wouldn't be able to do it since I like my hoard, as a dragon it's kind of my thing. I'm very protective of it."

Azrail silently listens to Austyn, Will, Blackout, and Riley talk. He wasn't sure what he could do that would help anyone. Killing was a big no no, but this guy was trying to take someones power and possibly kill Austyn. Azrail completely skipped Blackouts line of him not being needed.

(*Stretches* Welp time to get multiple people after my poor Blackout. Blackout: "Wait what! No thanks!" Me: Shut up! Do itttttt)

Blackout growled, "I'm done. Sir Barks-a-lot told me this would be easy. I can't deal with you anymore. I don't care who comes after me, I'm technically already a dead man anyways. And I am totally cool. People like you? I'm glad someone agrees but time to go."

Will blinks in surprise as he realizes he was sinking into the ground, into the shadows. He wasn't about to scream though, trying to pull himself free.
"Why don't you just kill me," He growled at Blackout, who turned to address his question, "Why do... this?"
"Well you see we need you alive, for now. Like I would kill you, then I would have to grab the king, which let's be real here, is very close to impossible," Blackout explained twirling a dagger in his hand before casually chucking it at Austyn, not wanting to kill him, but wanting him to shut up.

Zio nodded, "Then we have to get rid of human nature," She glanced at Blackout, then turned back to Riley, "Wait... you said dragon? What do you mean by that?"
She watched him, remembering what someone had told her, 'There is no right answer, just the best option'. She smiled a bit, glancing at Blackout again.

"Is Sir. Barks-a-lot like me? Does he talk a lot? I need a talkative friend. No, a talkative friend would be annoying. Because they would talk when I would want to talk." Austyn didn't notice that Blackout had thrown a dagger at him and was a little too late in recognizing the fact to do anything. "Oh, it seems I've been impaled." Austyn says, before removing the dagger and examining it. "It's a nice one. Where'd you get it? May I keep it?" Azrail scrambled over to Austyn and used his magic to heal Austyn, who was not reacting to the stabbing like most people would. "Wait, since I was stabbed does that mean I get to be overly dramatic? Oh what a world what a world! I'm hurt, I ma very much hurt. Um, uh, I'm out of lines."
Azrail rolls his eyes and quickly heals Austyn, whose bouncing was making it difficult.

"Meant what I said. I'm a dragon." Riley says before sighing when he remembers that he is in Ritkle where people don't trust magic. "Forget I said that."

"Worse then you," He whispered as he watched Will, who was no half way in the shadows, "He is literally so annoying. If it wasn't for the fact we are related I probably would have killed him by now. Imagine you, but he literally can't stop talking, even in his sleep. I mean how does he even breathe? Mystery indeed. And keep it, because you are not going to live long anyways," He pulled Will fully into the shadows, who let out a strangled gasp before disappearing completely.
Then he bowed, disappearing as well into the shadows as well, his job done. Instantly the shadows around the room dispersed as Will's bodyguard came into the room, staring around in shock.

"I shall. If I wasn't one of those people who wanted peace you would probably be dead," She said in a totally helpful way, tapping her pen gently against her desk, "Interesting power though, I must admit."

"That does sound annoying." Austyn says. "I prefer talking to listening. If I die I won't be able to talk. That'd be sad. Ooooooh, does your relative talk when he's dead?" Azrail took the dagger from Austyn, prepared to use it against Blackout, but he disappeared into the shadows before Azrail could use it. A second later, the bodyguard was bursting through the door. Azrail trembles, feeling like he had failed everyone.

"Thanks, I think." Riley says, glancing at the guard when they enter before dismissing them. Even without using fire, Riley could be dangerous.

"Where is Will," The guard asked, looking around in disbelief, "Oh no, the king is going to have my head."
"Indeed! But the question is was he killed? That child is shaking a lot, maybe they killed him," A female voice said as a girl stepped into the room, long wavy red hair flowing down her back, almost touching the floor.
She had blue eyes that watched Azrail curiously, looking dangerous despite her being shorter then most, "I'm going to have to bring you all to the king for questioning. Please refrain from fighting back or I'll have to use force."

Zio also seemed chill with the pair, shrugging at her words. If they wanted her to go she would.
"Glad to know people with magic can still live here," She responded back, voice just a whisper.

"Hi! I'm Austyn. What is the king like? Is the palace amazing? Or do you live in a castle? There's a difference you know. What's it like working close to the king?" Austyn babbles on. "Will disappeared with the shadow guy who stabbed me."
'I'm not the shadow guy.' Azrail signs, trying to clear things up. He hands the dagger back hilt first to Austyn - who took it gleefully - and gives himself up. Austyn cheerfully does that as well.
Riley doesn't want to go, but he knows that his boyfriend would prefer him to stay safe and not injured, so he went with the female and the guard.
