shadow shook his head slowly. "no. i mean soul. she is stressed for reasons even i could not understand. i-i think it has something to do with phoenix. her sister. she went on a patrol two years ago and never came back... before she left she told soul something. i just have no idea what it was..."

soul sighed, watching the sun go down. she was scared of shadow. more specifically, his reaction. she knew her pups shouldn't even be a secret, but they were a secret all the same. the pups had been born a week ago, but no-one knew. she wore baggy t-shirts and dresses, and let her fur grow long to hide it. but she knew that one day soon, they would find them. she got up, turning into her wolf form as she walked, then, once she was more wolf than girl, she bounded to the top of the tallest mountain, mount chrysalis. there, at the top, was a cave, only big enough for 5 adult wolves, and the mouth of the cave was so small, a large wolf would have to be made of butter to get through. inside, there were 3 pups: moon, blood and midnight. they looked like their mum, but with their dads mane and eyes. the mane was pitch black, and the only difference between the 3 was that ivy had a green eye, sparrow a red and midnight a blue. she pulled them close, determined to stay there, at least for a day or two, or until the pups could walk.

(Wow... is it night already? That was the shortest day ever)

Chill watched Soul leave, "I can go talk to her if you want," He offered, ignoring the way his slowly turned into his were-wolf form, white fur covering him. He could smell both Soul and Shadow's scent. There was something else, but he couldn't figure out what it was.

Selkie

As the moon rose, Selkie felt her body be coated if soft, red fur. Her eyes went from a soft brown to an eerie white. Her blood red coat shine in the last rays of the sun. The peace wasn't for long though.

Bloodmoon wolves howled to the moon, readying to attack.

she felt the fur cover her head, and she heard the howls in the distance. she took one last glance at the pups before running down to find alice.

she caught a deer, nice and alive, and looked up at the moon. a full moon. she clawed out a message into the skin of her deer: 'tonight the moon is full. there will be no war tonight.'
she dragged it into the deserted camp, only being seen by squirrels. the bloodmoons were busy getting ready, pups and all. she left it in the middle of the camp, then she ran.
