Your Fancy Boat comes to a rest at a silent pier jutting out from a massive island, the sun is shining brightly as you begin your second journey. But.. the pier seems to have shifted to another part of the isle! There is a stone path twining up into the mountains, beside the pier a beach spreads out to meet the sea, and is that a cave you spy at the base of some hills?

Will you..?
A: Follow the Stone Path?
B: Wander Along the Beach?
C: Enter the Dark Cave?

As you wander onto the beach, you can see some draconians waddling through the sand in the distance, an indistinct critter splashing in the shallow water, and near your feet you can see a slighlty wiggling raised bump in the sand- maybe something'a hiding? Or is it stuck?

Do you..?

A: Try approaching the distant group- but they look far..?
B: investiage what's splashing along the waves- is it a draconian?
C: Check out the raised area of sand near your feet?
D: Release the Jar of Butterflies and see if it attracts anything?

Curiously I check out the bump of raised sand near my feet.

The wriggling lump turned out to be..a draconian! The poor thing was injured, with a wound across its eyes. It seemed to sense you and pawed at your shoes, its ears flattened.

Do you...
A: Wrap it up with your Bandages and take back to the Fancy Boat?
B: Wrap it up with your Bandages and take it with you as you continue exploring?
C: Leave it to fend for itself? (You better not-)

Taking out the bandages I wrap up it's wounds and bring to the safety of my boat.
(Poor thing I would never dream of doing C! Especially when it's clearly asking for help.)

The Draconian settles into one of the little beds that came with the Fancy Boat and nuzzled your hand in gratitude, falling asleep within moments. don't worry, he'll still be sleeping in your boat when you return from exploring! Now you must choose how to proceed-

Shall you..
A: Return to the beach and check out the shallows?
B: Return to the beach and release the Jar of butterflies?
C: Return to the beach and try approaching the distant group of frolicking Draconians?
D: Enter the Cave?
E: Climb the Stone Path Up the Mountains?

Making sure the Draconian is secure in the boat, I turn a start climbing up the Stone Path to the Mountains.

As you approach the cave entrance you can see glowing lichen lighting your way. As you go deeper in, you find that the temperature gets warmer as you go deeper. Eventually you find yourself in a large cavern, where draconians are resting, tussling, or socializing. But these draconians were especially unique, because they were on fire! The flames curled down their backs and tails, some even hovering in the air around them in the form of flaming wings. These draconians were in shades of red, gold, amber, and black.
Congrats, you discovered the Cavern of Fire! If you buy a compass (coming soon) for your next expedition, you will be able to find this area again!
