(It was a canine tooth that was practically sideways. Had a root canal on the thing and it still went bad. I was shocked at how comfortable my bite felt after it was gone. It doesn't hurt nearly as much as I thought. It's like my body finds it being gone such a relief that it doesnt register any pain. I can understand about not wanting to lose more though. This is the third that I've had to have pulled. I have a back one that needs a crown, but I'm going to wait a week or two to set up that appointment. Give myself a chance to heal from this one.

Trill remained bored through the introductory lecture having heard it before. He quietly flipped through the pages in his science book only paying half attention to the lecture.

Tracey was quietly taking a few notes....mostly because if she asked one of her "friends" here, they wefe probabky going to give her a lecgure on theins and outs and she did not like extra lecturess withiut consent.

Now came the part where lab partners were assigned. Each student placed a piece of paper with their name on it in a small box. Trill complied and waited nervously. He hoped his Lab partners for this year were decent.

Definitely hopefully not the Marker twins or their frieds. That lot were seriously nerdy, geeky, and wih certain ones, not the kind you want to hang with if you didnt want to risk your head-Mateo Xandori and Nicote Marker had some temper issues they needed to deal with.

Tracry just hoped she wasnt goign to be with them, seeing as she saw quite enough od them as it was when he cousin had her friendgroup over to hang out. She oblidged with crossed fingers.

Of course guess who got put in the same group. Tracey awkwardly tried not to make eye contact.

Trill was grouped with Tracey and a new student called Ferdinand. At least it wasn't the twins. It was difficult to deal with the more outgoing lab partners. Too many personal questions. Most lab groups usually had at least one Freshman with the higher grades. The teacher usually assigned one new student to each group. The mix was supposed to promote good fellowship between the grades.

Tracey cheerfully turne dher back on the outgoing group of people. And then nervousky swallowed. "So. Um. Guess we're lab partners." She swueeked out. And then itnernaly cursed herself for beign such n idiot.
