Judi finally managed to calm herself down, in no small part to the birds chirping around them. She covered her mouth slightly, dusting off her clothes as she sheepishly looked around the place.
She focused on the sound of Zeth's voice, considering her advice to be sound enough and broke off a large tree branch to wield. She poked around a few other things in the clearing.
"..Plenty of wildlife.. I'd guess this is a forest, but none of this looks like anything I've ever seen before.. Er, any of us really. Kinda reminds me of Alice in Wonderland in a way."
She said, to no one in particular.

Axel glanced over at Zeth. "It wasn't directed at you, genius." He remarked pointedly before looking around, trying to get a better feel for his surroundings.

"Oh my god. We're all going to kill each other like in Lord of the Flies aren't we?" Henri groaned more to themself than to anyone in the group. It was ridiculous how much they already clashed with each other, but then again, they had all been in detention for a reason.

"Um...Mr. Hemsfield?" they questioned, stepping over to where they all stumbled out of the door, which was just visible through a low hanging branch. "Oh hell!"

It was in that doorway that their teacher still stood, glasses askew and energy whipping his coat against his tall figure. "Sorry." Orson offered a sheepish smile considering the circumstances. "I'm sure you're all afraid but I'm just as surprised as you are to find us here. I can't..." He fought to keep the door open even as a gust of wind tried to pull it closed. "Just stay together! Don't worry about me and find your own way home!"

A second later, the door slammed shut, vanishing in the blink of an eye.

Henri just stared into the emptiness left behind, finding only the teacher's glasses left behind. "Did...did the professor just die?!"

Axel grimmaced, suddenly feeling more lost than before, but shook it off andwalked over to Henri to get a better look at the pair of glasses. "...I hate to be that person." He said. "I don't think so, but for the sake of our situation, it'd probably be safer to assume he is."

"A death? Already? I'm not looking forward to this adventure... But since it's the only thing we do have... Let's go! Onward other adventurers to find... A way out! " Azrail says, gut twisting. Someone had already 'died'. How many more was there to come?

Axel looked over at Azrail. "Agreed. We should probably find a place with better light first, though; I think I remember how to make a sun compass, so we can at least pick a solid direction."

Picking up the glasses, Henri felt...something rush through them. "H-how can you be so calm about this? This is serious! I didn't even know that guy, but-" Damn. Henri could feel tears welling up in their eyes. All these stupid people would call them a girl after this. After all, only girls cried when they were scared. Even though Henri put that all behind them long ago. Whirling around, Henri jabbed a finger at the rest of the group.

"There's no way he can be dead!"

Zeth had seen Henri in the halls before, and had only one word to describe how Zeth felt about them. Respect.
"I have to agree. He had said 'find yoyr own way home's, implying that he has already found his. I think he is probably still alive."

Judi rubbed the back of her head, not sure how to respond.
"She's right, you know. I doubt he's dead, you're totally overreacting..
But we might be if we keep standing around here.. How are we even supposed to get back anyways?"
