"No, the influence stays. It actually canels out when I feel the same way as the other person. Like, if I feel peeved and the other person feels peeved, then I can't make the person feel not-peeved. I can't influence intense emotions either..." He glanced at the ceiling. "Doesn't work on drunk people either, funnily enough."
