He pulls her close, leaning down so only she could hear what he said. "Are we really just going to pretend that you aren't a serial killer? No chase or anything?" He smelled kind of musty, like a horse. Maybe he had a few back at his house? A smirk crossed his lips as he waited for a response

He is tempted to just take off her glove or her veil, but if she starts to scream, her friends might report him to the police and then he wouldn't be able to save the people, et cetera, et cetera.
