If people want a particular pet, even if the price is a bit high, then they'll pay the price for it. There's also no wrong or right way to price. Players can sell their pets for whatever they want. I believe the main issue that Sylestia has is actually how we go about trying to fix a problem that doesn't exist. Instead of trying to constantly buy and release cheap pets to improve the economy (this does absolutely nothing in the long run aka a band aid solution) we should really focus on teaching new players how to effectively progress and get gold. Just linking them the gold making guide really isn't the answer. (Imo the gold making guide we currently have is pretty flawed- nurturing is the BEST way for new players to make gold but it's pushed to the side as not worth anyone's time). It's pretty simple~ Encourage newer players to nurture and buy pet dyes with scales > they sell those LPD's on the broker for 20k+ and they have some funds to help them get through the early portion of the game until they can access those harder missions that actually bring in gold. Pet dyes become cheaper, projects that require pet dyes become cheaper, less "dishwater pets" flooding the market, new players get their head start and progress, older players get cheap pet dyes and less players going, "I'm stuck."

Discussion threads of hot debate topics will always have multiple voices because everyone will want to be heard when they have an opinion. There's nothing wrong with voicing or debating those opinions so long as all involved remain civil. New users must understand that gold is actually plentiful if they're willing to work for it and that good pets are priced as they should be (and that if they listen to advice from veterans that they'll get to the point in which it is incredibly easy to make gold). Veteran players need to remember that new players do have it hard in the beginning because they do not have increased stat pets, they do not have the resources or funds to expand and that cost of expanding the party in the beginning is incredibly grindy and that no, the answer is not, "do missions" because those lower tier missions really don't give the amount of gold that the upper tier missions do. As far as Sylestia's economy goes I already feel like Krin has done his part in building one that works, it just comes down to everyone teaching and/or learning to use those mechanics in a way that works for all involved. The foundation is there if we work with it. It's the players who are actually running the economy, therefor it's up to the players to fix, not to demand unnecessary changes to a system that should already work. Here's the breakdown: Players with large stables breed pets which produce eggs and hatchlings. To limit breeding them is to limit the amount of eggs and hatchlings in the system. (Veteran players produce more into the system.) Players earn scales (and even essences) by nurturing these pets. (Veteran players - this is boosting your pets stats and reducing growing time.) Players use those scales to purchase and sell or use LPD's on the broker. (The more newer players that do this admittedly dye prices will be cheaper but it will also be cheaper to redye pets that have potential and may make some projects cheaper to create. At even 20k each, veteran players an easily afford this and it's 25ish minutes of scale grinding for new players vs. 5 hours of grinding in NFB camp for gold. - Really, the only veteran players I can see this working against negatively are players who farm scales for profits because they know it's an easy method but usually these players also have other options to make gold. Sorry y'all.) At this point, with veteran players buying those LPD's with gold they most likely easily can make back, newer players can progress through the story easier because they can actually afford better pets and better gear. They get through the most trying part of the game and to a point in which they CAN do those missions that give really good rewards.They also should have obtained some essences from nurturing to help them start their own projects if they so wish. Those newer players eventually become part of the veteran player cycle. If we take our time to educate them. Those who don't want to listen to advice are free to succeed or fail on their own. If we're looking for suggestions on how to improve the economy and how to help these newer players this would be my recommendation.
