I'm about the same, I just had to learn to draw fast
The fox face took me around 5 minutes to get the frame and another 15-20 to add details x.x

I got my start by doing comics, which made me draw faster and faster as I tried to pump out comics more and more x3

I know the watercolor is off with the clothes, and sure I was going for the "textured" look that real clothes have... but it came out not great and even spilled a little by her arm x.x
I am very happy with it all in all, but I know where I could get better at the very least x3

No actually, but you aren't the first to ask that xD

Alot of my friends have drawn lines between her and goats/cows, but the fact is she was, before I stylized her and accidentally turned her into a kobold of sorts, supposed to be a tiefling.

She was a fan character for Hollow Knight originally, but something I did a while back to help my partner get back at some bullies made me re-design her to fit most other... "Roleplay" styles I guess...? Pyromancer kobold... fits with almost all styles out there-

So, she started out as a fan character. She was a honeypot ant that would invade my dreams as I slept and I know how weird that sounds but that's how most of my characters start out surprisingly
This was one of the earliest drawings I still have of her... ignore the roughness, this was nearly two years ago x.x

I don't think I still have that drawing, that was in my phone's backup drive-

From there, I started drawing her alot
The year the Grimm Troupe DLC released, around Halloween, I drew her in the generalized garb of a troupe member

So, fast forward a couple more months, and my partner and I start dating. They mention something about a website that they frequent that they want me to help them decimate, and considering what I saw on it we didn't need to do anything
Long story short this is where her most recent form came into existence-


Now of course this was REALLY hard to draw over and over, so I made a more stylized version in a reference sheet for myself that I uploaded to my artfight:

Of course she's still gone through a million minor edits and adaptations over the last two years but she's still my favorite character I've ever had x3

This went on for quite a long time
