Personality: Reserved but very good-natured and talkative around friends, Sam is surprisingly sporty, despite spending the majority of time jamming out to "a hella sweet bop" or submerging themselves in historical facts. They don't really care what anyone says; they do it for themselves. Sam is just an emo who likes history, being alone, and the military. They *will* fight you, so be warned. Square up.

Background: Technically agender/non-binary, Sam was kind of forced into the position of a well-off female. Not what they wanted at all. Prior to that, they were much worse off, and really struggling in many ways. As "luck" would have it, they were given a good position in the new society, but Sam's old friends were green and below. This resulted in fights. Some of which were physical. Having lost faith in the government, and now their former companions, Sam regressed from society as much as they were able to. But it was also a good thing, as it let them to try to push past all of that and improve. Using their newly available resources, they improved themselves with better education... and a whole lot of physical and electrical alterations.
Likes: Technology in general, history, military, pop punk music, instruments that aren't electric at all
Dislikes: Loud noises (screaming dudes on guitar being the exception), people, the government
Strengths: Nerdiness is a strength, determined, technology
Weaknesses: Rule follower to a fault, socially inept, prone to rambling
Other: So, Sam would be labelled as a female officially, but never socially.

Okay, I have a couple questions. First, where is this taking place? I know our characters were approached by the Asian whatever, but are we currently in a controlled country? Second, does everyone have an actual physical (or holographic) tag that's always visible? How do people know what colour someone is?

You literally have a tag hanging ariund you neck. You also have to mark all your clothes with that color on the shoulder (kinda like the star of david thing from the halocast)Yaya.
