Arlette sat down on the couch. Everybody ready to play a game? she asked. As she said it, her parents entered the room. They had just returned from their work. They looked at Arlette quizzingly. You didnt tell us you were gonna have friends over today. I thought we had lessons today. Her dad said. She laughed a little nervously. Oops, right. Well they are here now.
